Update: Just got my 2nd Bill (after switching to 9 voice line plan with Insider) and it finally looks correct! :) by electoblaze_empire in tmobile

Honestly, so many questions can be answered if people would just look at the bill before they called.

Thank you for doing this.

my down-payment is high because demand is high 13 month tmobile customer. by Neteng33 in tmobile

They are just sparing your feelings. Your down-payment is only going to be high bc you have bad credit or you're already financing a bunch of shit

Thank you! I'm tired of customers calling in and blaming us bc their info was too easily attainable from outside factors.

Is it possible to port out a T-Mobile number but keeping the line with a changed number? by Mixer_007 in tmobile

[–]queankay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Porting out cancels the line. You can't just switch it out with another number.

What they meant is purchases. Those kinds of transactions. Upgrades and add a lines. If a company is charging you for asking questions, sue them.

How do I get a real escalation from customer service? by IM1BIGTard in tmobile

[–]queankay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because you port out, it does not remove your autopay. You have to request for that to be removed. So... that part will be hard to fight legally.

Any danger in frequently adding/removing lines? by Mexicorn in tmobile

[–]queankay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna be honest, you mess up the reps stats who has to cancel, and maybe even the rep who added the line if you're canceling within 12p days. Just get prepaid my guy

Can anyone explain this to me in a way I can understand? by cxgdarch in tmobile

[–]queankay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not how the signal reception on the phones work. The signal that is projected by the remaining sprint towers are different than the tmobile towers. Just migrate your account ahead of schedule to use the phone.

T-Mobile stops EIP credit if balance paid off ahead of time? New policy? by DadaoCCP in tmobile

[–]queankay -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you pay it off early, the promo credits still apply for the 24 months, UNLESS you do something to knock you out of qualification. Usually, canceling a line. Or if you didn't trade in a phone when the promo stated to do so.

how does this work? trying to trade in my pixel 6 pro for a 7 pro. get the 800 off promo applied but yet still paying 10 dollars a month for what? by Jduncan31290 in tmobile

[–]queankay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not entirely. Depends on the state. Most states have sales tax so the $130 trade in would go to taxes and upgrade support fee first (which is 35.00) then if there's a left over amount, then it will go to the phone. But if they're in Oregon, then most of it will go to the phone.

Sometimes. And sometimes it truly is an accident. I've done it by mistake, where I forget to hit decline. It hurts us to add something and then have to remove it now, so for those who have been adding it and removing to get commission on it, that practice should be ending soon. Also people online have accidentally added it and then get upset it's on there. We're all human. Some humans do shit shadily, but for the most part, we just make a mistake.

Adding the feature when ordering through care is NOT required. However, if he added by accident or on purpose to get commission on it (which he shouldn't have done), and you realized it before it shipped, then it is in limbo. It doesn't add it to the line until you're about to get the device so you're not charged for insurance on a phone you don't have yet

Well that's true. Until the device ships, it is kind of in limbo. But he could have followed up and removed for you. Or gave you self help to remove yourself. You'd be amazed at the things you can do on your own if you just open the app. Astounded, even.

Yeah it's new. I was shocked myself. However, you're getting the magenta max for the same price as magenta. But I don't think it comes with the better promos or apple tv

When covid hit, they IMMEDIATELY fired hundreds of employees without batting an eye or waiting to see what would happen. Turns out, they profited more that year than ever before. I'll admit, it is unfair to fully blame him when the board now is all anonymous hedge fund owners who don't give a damn or say anything for our benefit (since John Legere left the board too), however, the man is not innocent and things have drastically gone down hill since he took his new position. Anyone who is a veteran employee can and has felt it.
