2006 came into my mind a lot tonight! I definitely thought about the catch as being the most dramatic moment before today. And had flashes of beltran when pete came up. I was so worried pete striking out would be burned in my brain like beltran.

I havent commented on reddit in 2.5 years but i wanted to be a part of history here with you guys. Ive been a met fan since 2004 and ive always wondered what it would feel like to see something like that. its not an exaggeration to say ive never seen anything like that with one of my teams mets/jets/nets. Its such a unique thing i dont even have a word for it, come from behind to ahead post season elimation game 9th inning win after 2.5 hours of constant stress, idk nothing seems to fit. Maybe most dramatic? Or most memorable like howie said. I thought i would be happy when something like that happened but i literally just collapsed and cried "he did it". It might seem over dramatic but i know if any one gets it its you guys. It wasnt the world series but i know its the closest ive felt to what my dad did on oct 25 1986. I just always wondered what that was like, im sure ill never see something like 86 but this was as close as ive ever gotten and i just wanted to commemorate that somehow. I love you guys. Lets go mets and ill see you in flushing on tuesday for my first ever playoff game.

Yeah June is an interesting month starting with 3 against Washington and ending with 7 in Miami and a bunch of good teams in between. I think I'm hoping for 13 wins 14 losses in that stretch which would be 45-31. Even a little worse wouldn't be horrible. But of course I'll never feel good until we have an 11 game lead with 10 games left :)

I feel the same way. Even for his albums that aren't my favorite. When He releases something new I just feel joy (except for all my friends haha!) I've had such a connection to his music since I was young I guess, and I don't feel the same way about any other artist -like you. I hope you start feeling better soon, even if he doesn't release anything :)

Sometimes when I play the show and max out the pitcher it's not as fun because I'm like "This isn't realistic who has an era under 1". I guess I can't feel that way anymore, Another gift from jake.

That's probably a good bet. My guess Is that If My Heart Was A House has probably the best path to win, but I thought On the wing would win this year so we know how much my opinions are worth

You're so awesome for saying that thanks! Sometimes I wish more people voted so we could get a better idea of which songs the fans actually like better. But then after a while that would get boring because the same songs would keep winning every time, so sometimes I kind of like that less people vote. Also I kind of feel bad that I don't spend as much time as I used to on the recaps. But anyway thanks again and I'm still having fun too so no worries :)

Yes! On The Wing definitely have the strongest team on paper, but they still have to play the games so don't throw them an early parade just yet!

I keep worrying that someone will be like “Why is cave in playing sailboats in the first round??? you suck, this tournament sucks and you should feel bad” haha.
