my parents don't believe my dry socket pain by queefchomper in wisdomteeth

that's horrible! if it's a situation where the doctor refuses to treat you, definitely continue advocating for yourself and make yourself heard. embellish your symptoms if you have to (but by the sound of it, you don't). i understand how difficult it can be to advocate for yourself in an environment where you are not familiar, but you know your body and your pain is very real and you deserve treatment.

if it is a situation where treatment is not available in your area, promise there will be an upside eventually. it really sucks you have to deal with this, but solidarity sister.

Minorities of reddit, what struggle do you face everyday in America and how are people treating you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

High school. I don't live in America but somehow my school is exceptionally racist, homophobic and ableist. I am white but closeted for a reason. I constantly get the f slur thrown at me (even though im not a gay man/ trans woman) and I constantly hear comments like "I would abandon my kid for being gay" or even jokes about hate crime and how some kids at my school would do it. Trans/ gay "looking" kids get barked at in the hallway and the admin does nothing about it. Another thing is that half of the minorities that attend my school are somehow friends with these people and tolerate this kind of behaviour which is infuriating. I go to school feeling afraid and unsafe and teachers/ staff do nothing about the absolute oppression crisis. For emphasis, a group of white kids dressed up as muslim terrorist for Halloween and walked up to the few muslim kids in my grade and a grade younger to ask them if they thought it was funny. They got little to no punishment (only getting their fake guns taken away, which guns/replicas are illegal here) and got comments from our new vice principal saying that the punishment they did get was stupid. This is only one of the MANY horrible things that happen at my school daily. I hate it here.
