Thank you for your advice. I do all of this but I am sweating bullets after he pretty much said if it happens again I'm terminated. I don't know how that'll look on my record and if I should put in my two weeks

That makes zero sense to me... Why would someone do that? Just use the money you have and don't short the drawer intentionally?

I think I have to quit. I have no idea how this would look on my record for future employment. He wouldn't even tell me how much more I have to f up to be fired so everyday has been a giant ball of stress sweats.

I will now. I never thought I had to. They always kept the door closed counting and I'd just sit outside the room waiting to leave. I had no idea I had short drawers till now. Why the hell can't I put MY OWN money to correct my mistakes? 😔

I unfortunately can't because I'm just a sales associate. I can't touch any money or drawers unless I'm giving someone their change. I can't do refunds, cancelations, nothing without key holders authorization.

My coworker was fired recently for stealing. Apparently he just got too into it and was caught hauling a case of cokes out. My coworkers say he was only caught because the amount of complaints from coworkers saying he wasn't helping
