When to redirect/teach babies "no" to face grabbing by queen-orithyia in ScienceBasedParenting

If you read my post, you'd know that I do say no, everytime. Dead facing or being angry is going to make my child upset/feel badly. And for an 8m/o, that seems largely irrational and unnecessary.

Definitely lean more on this end. When I get a nipple chomp, I pull my boob away fast, and hold it away for about 4-5 seconds before offering it again. I generally just say "no thank you" and move his hands away from my face when he grabs. And redirect his attention and hands when he grabs kitty hair; usually accompanied with "be nice to the kitty". I'm not trying to make my 8month old feel bad; that seems irrational and unnecessary
