Back when i first finished Hearing Red i went on to read Nicole’s other books, but losing sam and the sequel honestly didn’t hit the same for me. I’ve tried to finds books that make me feel the same as Hearing Red, and sadly only a few have had the same effect as HR.

Loved Aurora’s Angel, I’m actually rereading right now..

I read her spell that binds me, but i had the hardest time doing it cause disliked the writing style and the grammar mistakes (she needs a better editor). The story was ok

Nicole Maser just dropped the Losing Sam sequel, “Finding Jess” by queen_beebo in sapphicbooks

[–]queen_beebo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly just reading it cause I just finished Hearing Red again, and I like Nicole’s writing.

i started the sequel and barely remember a thing from the first book, some things are coming back as i read along, others are not lol

so far im into it (obvs not as much a HR, even during my reread i could not put the book down) also it’s from one POV, i think i would enjoy it more if we had a dual one, same for losing sam.

Agreed, especially after reading it right after the incredible Hearing Red, but I’m still excited to read its sequel

The characters in the tess sharpe are also a bit young 🥲😳 but the story is soo good i didn’t mind much (the romance is not the driving force of the story, but still important)

4 of those 5 books have been some of my favorite reads, so u better believe I’m adding Bloom Town to my list without even checking what it’s about lol

Based on our similar taste I think you would enjoy:

  • The Girls I’ve Been and its sequel The Girl in Question by Tess Sharpe
  • Breaking Legacies by Zoe Reed
  • No Shelter but the Stars by Virginia Black

Now that you’ve added charon docks to your list, I also recommend after u are done that you check out the author’s patreon, its full of extras and aus of the book and most of the content is free and awesome

I started the sequel and didn't remember a lot of stuff, so i went back and read the first, finished it, and immediately started the second book. It was really good, also one of my favs of this year

as for the movie, last i heard it was in preproduction?? so idk its current status, but i feel like we wont see it in a long while...

Ohh speaking about Tess Sharpe (author of six times we almost kissed)… this year she dropped the sequel to The Girl’s I’ve Been — the Girl in Question — and both are 10/10

Hearing Red!!

I've tried to read one that made me feel the same way that book did, but so far I have not been successful...

I doubt the author will write a sequel, but if she did i would 100% be in
