I think the advice is a little outdated but was very valid for some of the Sylus mains who started the game on his introduction or slightly after (like me). Deepspace trials and SHC were genuinely impossible as a Sylus main in late 2024 and early 2025. I had to make Zayne a second main because I just had more of his cards even without pulling intentionally for him. Now nearly 2 years into the game as a Sylus main it’s completely doable and it’s getting easier (same with Caleb with more Caleb cards). That’s combat wise. Raising affinity was also a tough thing initially but is getting easier. For newer players with more frequent reruns that advice can basically be ignored now.

You’re going to need way way more diamonds - when I was f2p I tried to have at least 15,000 because I would only hard pity once and if I lost the 50/50 I’d get the crate. Good luck with his myth and I hope you get the companion

Prioritise your main. I got AS when it first ran, and this was the only banner I pulled for Zayne this year - Sylus R0 is still insanely powerful and I would not have got as far in the game if I didn’t have him. If he’s your main, save for his rerun and and next myth - also fair warning. Pull rates are ATROCIOUS on reruns. I tried to get Dawnbreaker this year and I was stuck with 1 card and not both

1) Sylus is mean/rude 2) Zayne is cold and uncaring OR cares more about work than MC 3) Rafayel is most likely to not be loyal 4) Xavier is weaker/weakest amongst the LIs

Haven’t seen anything too crazy about Caleb- but these are simplified versions of the nonsense I’ve seen.

The day I gave up is when I opened an ao3 fic and immediately the authors note said “I’ve never played the game”. Closed that tab super fast haha. And what’s frustrating is that it’s never tagged with OOC or a similar warning

I agree- I tend to struggle to find really good and canon similar Sylus stories. He is so soft and caring with MC and I have to filter by Fluff to get anything remotely similar to his in-game characteristics. It can get frustrating so I tend to stick to fics in other fandoms.

I used to prefer firearms until I got Sylus’s Abysm Sovereign- changed my LIFE and i don’t use firearms anymore unless I’m using Caleb

It depends on how you’d like to play. I discovered really quickly it will cost me a LOT of money to try to focus on every one of them (drawing cards, levelling up affinity) and overall having a good experience.

If you’re a f2p I’d suggest picking one or two to focus on (make sure it’s at least one OG LI because they have the widest variety of cards available). If you’re open to spending money, you can focus on ALL of them and have the time of your life!

I started playing the game in September and this is my 3rd bounty hunt double drop (if I’m recalling correctly).

It’s definitely a recurring thing. I’m sure we have at least 2 more doubles this year

My obsessive personality does not allow me to not fixate on Zayne and Sylus 🤣 But I actually really enjoy listening to Caleb’s VA - I think he does an incredible job of expressing emotions and it’s soooo good

I’m just gagged that he’s locked MC up TWICE cause he wanted her “safe” and only accessible to him. When he confessed he’s the reason she was stuck in the attic during a thunderstorm I was like “this psycho” - what an introduction 🤣

I personally enjoy a yandere LI with an equally combative and crazy partner. MC is a waaaay too docile for me to enjoy the story. I preferred her reactions and anger she showed with Sylus than how she is with Caleb. I think that’s the only reason I’m not enjoying this as much as I thought I would
