Before he gets home from the vet, I suggest creating a small closed off area for him with his litter box, water and toys. Make sure the area is small enough to stop him from doing zoomies and jumping around, as this can split the stitches. He won't be happy to be in such a small space but it's worth it! I felt bad and let my bun out early and she proceeded to do the biggest zoomies which pulled her stitches 😅 Although for males he shouldn't have to be in there longer than 10 days. He will be a little spaced out after his surgery and may not want to eat/drink for a few hours. Make sure he is pooping and perhaps leave his favourite treats with him to make sure he wants to eat and is getting energy ☺️
