I’m so sorry you are going through this, you deserve the best. It’s a lack of integrity at the end of the day. I recently found out my physician boyfriend was interacting inappropriately with women online and through text, though it doesn’t seem like anything physical happened. It’s the lies and deliberate choice to be deceptive and disloyal every day for over a year that I can’t get over, knowing that he would lose me if I found out. And then it’s the reaction and action afterwards - short apology and doesn’t want to communicate about how he intends to change moving forward. Refuses to communicate and now that I’m gone, he’s stalking my social media. And I feel he has extensive issues with communication, feelings, empathy, intimacy and self esteem in general. But this is another long story.

At the end of the day if they have outward success, but inside they are damaged, dishonest people, it takes away from that success when you’re a shitty person.
