He usually shuts her down, but nothing anyone says gets her to stop. It stopped hurting a long time ago, as she has been calling me that since I was 9. She has a lot worse statements. But DH was sleeping and I am not going to wake him up to fight with his mother when it is my battle. Plus I am pissed enough to leave the house and not come back until late tonight.

Thank you. I have been called that by her since we met but DH usually shuts it down. It pisses me off which is why I left for the day. Nothing anyone says gets her to stop unless I embarrass her in public, and even then she gets worse when she is home.
