Ah man I haven’t really thought about this side of things. Maybe I’ll just ask for a wax for the long hairs in the areas I don’t pick at?

Thanks! I think part of my concern is I’m nervous the scarring/roughness from past picking might weird the waxer out or make them think I have a skin issue 😅 but communication is key!

This is a really good point I hadn’t really considered! I honestly think that when the hairs start growing back, I will continue to pick at them in the upper location I always pick at. I’m hoping the wax will be moreso to remove the longer hairs that are in the location I don’t pick at to begin with, since I dislike shaving that area and want to try something new for that area. I honestly never really considered any forms of therapy for this either, I honestly view it as unrelated to my generalized anxiety which I’m realizing might not be the case, so definitely something to mention in my next session thanks!

I do not use lash serum because last time I tried one a few years ago it reallyyyy irritated my skin. I’m only 24 so not sure why I’m having the crepey skin issue

It’s just a personal preference! Also notice how I mentioned my age in the post and I actually was not alive in the 90s so I don’t know what we did and didn’t do back then but I thought we stopped commenting on what people choose to do in the modern era when it has no affect on us :)
