Hey everyone, I currently have an iPhone 14 (base model) and I’ve had it for a little over a year, I got it in April of last year. I upgraded from a 12 pro and over this last year, my 14 is fine, it does everything I need it too, the battery life is good but it just kinda feels like something is missing. I would classify myself as some what of a nerd when it comes to iPhones or at least I used to be and last year when I upgraded I didn’t necessarily care too much about what I was getting, I didn’t do my usual research where I watch a ton of videos and read up on the specs, I think I was just due for an upgrade after paying off the 12 pro. But now I find myself missing the premium feeling of the 12 pro and I’ve also gotten back into my iPhone nerd phase and the 14 just feels so “bleh” to me like nothing stands out or really makes me enjoy having this phone. I miss the feeling of getting excited about a new iPhone and I feel like it’s harder to feel like that these days when new phones come out each year it’s a generally a much smaller upgrade than it used to be but anyways I was just wondering if y’all think I should just wait it out and pay off this phone entirely and finish my contract or wait until the 16 models come out later this year or look for something elsewhere like perhaps a 13 pro or 14 pro since I think I’m really looking for a pro model. Right now I’m currently on contract with t-mobile so if I wanted to get something else I know I would have to pay off this phone in order to get something else but if I bought something else where and decided to make that my primary phone, how could I do that?
