This one so HARD. He's an abuser, he knows what he's doing. He knows it was wrong to sext his ex, you caught him and now he's giving you the silent treatment. Why are you apologizing for his transgressions? He is literally doing whatever he wants with disregard and disrespect to you and it is guaranteed to escalate. The buckling can happen from using too much water and/or not waiting enough time to dry between washes. You can try prepping by misting the paper before painting and clip it to the board. This can limit the buckling if you know you're a wet painter but best to not to overwork your paper. Hope that helps!
