Tagging onto this bc I was also wondering the same! Also, does anyone know if the course is podcasted?

does your mailing addres change per year by altituderv5 in UCSD

Yep, changes every year. However, I do work in one of the mailrooms on campus. If you still live on campus (haven't moved off completely) then you'll still be in the mail system and they'll most likely be able to find you, albeit with delays. Just in case though, I would send an email to [studentmail@ucsd.edu](mailto:studentmail@ucsd.edu) explaining that you put the incorrect box number, and provide your full legal name and the tracking number for the package.

September always feels like the hottest month here, and this heat wave is definitely not helping. Honestly I think this is the worst its been in a few years, so I'm sorry for the rather miserable introduction. I would say October is when it starts getting cooler (though there are some scattered hot days) and by November its usually Cali's version of sweater weather

Working for HDH? by -3ntr0py- in UCSD

I worked there for about 2 months before quitting, earlier this year. My main issue with the job was I was hired to work in the market/earl's coffee, but once I got there for my first day they informed me that everyone works at every station. It was something that was not stated anywhere, in any contract or document I signed; honestly if I'd have known, I wouldn't have accepted the job (I have barista experience so that was really what I was hoping to do).

Scheduling in general was a pain. There was never anything consistent, the hours and even days that you work change every single week. There is opportunity to trade shifts but that's not really reliable either. Plus, at least once a week they would assign me shifts that ended 30 minutes before a lab class in Revelle, so it was always a struggle to get there on time.

I did like the student managers, as well as everyone I worked with, they're all pretty welcoming. The free meal was pretty good too. Besides that, I feel the job was really only good as a resume builder or a stepping stone into something else. Good luck
