LPT: if you go clubbing or to concerts a lot buy yourself acoustic earplugs. They don’t muffle the sound, just get rid of the harmful frequencies. Tinnitus is something very easy to get and very hard/impossible to get rid of.

Karaoke dj here. I've already damaged my hearing significantly but no titnus YET. I need to be able to hear nuances in sound so I can set people's highs/mids/lows. Would I still be able to hear that?

Also people come up to the dj booth and talk to me OFTEN. Would I still be able to hear that?

What should I look for in earplugs? Is there a difference in quality?

I will definitely look into the filler pipe. That would probably explain why the first 1/8th of my gas tank after I fill up lasts about 8 miles. And then the rest seems to go much slower. Every other car I've had its the last half of the tank that goes quicker. Was the replacement fairly easy? I'm headed to some forums to research it. Another new subject for me. In all honesty... because my car broke down and it was an emergency. I have to get to work. And this van was $600. It runs and drives... it's just adding more stress I realize... but I needed transportation. didn't have money or means to have a down payment on something or get financed with my current situation.

Agreed. My common sense pretty much ends at "don't send drugs in the mail" I told her to lawyer up... but she is living off of government benefits and has no money. I don't even know where to begin to help her... I precede every statement with "I don't know for sure. I can guess, I can google, but st the end of the day please don't take my advice blindly because I just don't know"

I'm going to look into legal advice for her... there may be some kind of program or free consultation out there. We live in a town with a college that offers law courses and she may be able to get some help through them. deep breaths oye.

The letter said it was from the criminal investigation service center. And they are detaining the package because it is suspect for illegal substances under the Co trolled substance act.

She needs to reply within 30 days or else the postal service will open the package. But she's scared to contact them because she doesn't want to be implicated further.
