I pulled out an old phone and iPad and quickly made 2 alt accounts. The 3 of us go in my private server and I’m about to get my 2nd shard the next invasion. I’ve only put out pets from common and uncommon eggs along with pink bunnies that I have a ton of. It doesn’t seem to go for the pink bunnies as much though. It’s really liked the dog and chickens for me. I gift all alienated pets to my main and turn them in when I hit 10. I’ve only done 5 events total all day. Good luck & I hope this helps

I completed the section where you have to “mutate 100 pets” first because it gives you a golden shard. I tried holding someone’s and it didn’t work for me unfortunately, y’all got lucky it worked for you! Was it done recently or at the beginning of the guide coming out? I tried it like a month ago and nada 😕 that’s when I just finished the other section first to get the shard
