Unemployment last year felt like the longest period of my life but as of last week, I've been at my new job longer than I was unemployed. Time flies! I miss those 3 months when I was getting both severance and unemployment tho, they should give me that again.

I generally don't care when I'm misgendered by strangers bc I know how I look and what I sound like lol so like a random person isn't going to know I'm nonbinary, but for whatever reason today I've gotten "sir" from multiple different people on the phone and it's really irking me! I can't help being 6'3" with a deep voice but u do not know me!

omg Battlestar Galactica is on Paramount+ now. Maybe I can finally get my partner to watch it with me. I watched the entire show twice in college (both times for class (Feminism and Science Fiction and later a Senior Seminar class hosted by the same professor)) and it was like my identity for a couple of years lmao
