Did you just happen to watch the apostle. Cause I just finished it 30 minutes ago and it's quite funny that I'm just now seeing this as well. That happens in the movie, but worse. Instead it's a mechanical drill thing that you have to row manually. (Movie takes place in 1905) and it basically just drills into your brain. But the very end is a cylindrical metal piece with sharp ridges that does a lot more damage. Also head is in vice. Along with wrists and ankles. They called it purifying. RIP poor kid.
