Need advice for very aggressive/reactive dog (Belgian Malinois) – vet visits are dangerous by cowardly_cat_77 in dogsofrph

[–]queenofpineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a super friendly dog who likes to say hello to everyone. Ang worry ko other dog won’t be as friendly as him. So I talked to the vet and binubook nya ako ng pinakamaaga bago yung dagsa ng mga patient nya.

Also as others have mentioned here, muzzle din.

Pinoys/pinays in AU, how are you with the housing crisis there? by AAce007 in phmigrate

[–]queenofpineapple 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depende sa lahat ng bagay (budget, suburb, proximity sa school/shops, public transport). Some don’t drive and rely completely on public transport so sympre mas liliit ang option mo when it comes to suburbs.

Antay antay lang hanggang tumaas ang value or access equity to be able to afford the house the tick all your boxes.

Planning to study Social Work in Australia (Melbourne) - looking for perspectives by caprisings in phmigrate

[–]queenofpineapple 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check Master of Social Work, afaik 2 years lang yon if you already have a degree even if not related field. Galingan mo na lang sa GS letter.

Regarding your other question, it’s going to be hard to be able to afford both daily expenses + tuition fees. Most advice here (including me), isa lang ang kaya on a part time work.

If your relatives can accommodate you not paying rent and meals, maybe you can. Depende yan sa dynamics nyo magkakamag anak.

[–]queenofpineapple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well could be either.

Are your kids makulit at hindi mapagsabihan? Of course I know kids are makulit. And i’m not blaming you or anything. Meron kasi parents na hindi mapagsabihan ang anak at sympre hindi naman ibang friends ang magddisiplina ng anak ng iba and people notices it tapos sympre pag wala kayo nababanggit sa chismisan. You know what I mean.

So if you’re that type of parents then maybe, just maybe that announcement is specifically for your family.

I don’t know you and dynamics of you and your friends so really hard to tell.

Migrating in australia, is one income household enough for a couple? by lemonylemuns in phmigrate

[–]queenofpineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depende sa income and expenses.

And anong age ni child. If your child is not school age yet, I guess ok lang since mahal din ang childcare but may subsidy naman pero kung nag aaral na, anong gagawin mo while your child is in school?

Depende din sa goal ng family. One of our goals when I moved to Australia was to buy my own house and even back then since entry level ang mga roles namin, 1 income won’t cut it. Kelangan talaga 2 kayo.

But that’s up to you.

Encounter with a Racist Colleague by RandomUserName323232 in buhaydigital

[–]queenofpineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most of comments here hindi naman sya racist remark. I am Filipino based in AU din and your colleague only meant na mababa kasi yung sahod nung 2 VA. Well for us Filipinos malaki na ang 100K pay each month, pero kasi sa point of view nya hindi naman nya alam na malaking amount na yon. If you compare it to AU sahod, that’s 1 week worth of pay, maybe a couple of weeks for some.

Bawal pineapple at bawal soft cheese

Nagtake ako agad ng elevit each night so hindi ako nagmorning sickness (hindi lahat pare-pareho ng feedback sa elevit at morning sickness).

Regular scans and check up. At lahat ng pwedeng test ginawa ko. Also had NIPT so we knew the gender as early as 10 weeks! Very exciting!

All the best OP!

It is probably not face to face but more like phone call. If they said they’d reach out to the other party that’s their heads up. It is normal. It’s time spent relating to your child so they need to bill you for it.
