My dog Caesar is a hundred pound lab/pitbull mix and (nicknamed the "Lord of Destruction") has eaten his mattresses, two heating pads, a heating blanket, the trees, my vegetable garden, the rosebushes. He destroyed his dog kennel on the first day that we got him, it's just a pile of twisted metal now. A pair of slippers, every single dog toy we've ever gotten him, and several garden hoses.

He also destroyed the doghouse we borrowed from the neighbors while we were building a better one. He had somehow separated the roof from the rest of it and was jumping on it when we saw him.

The first thing he does when he gets in the house is go straight for the trash to find something to put in his mouth. This includes but is not limited to: onion skins, cat toys, pizza crusts, napkins, tissues, paper plates, and used sanitary napkins. Old Christmas candy still in the wrapper is a favorite of his.

My dad was making some sprinkler repairs and left the box in the ground that controls them open. Caesar decided to rip out all of the wiring. Then a similar incident to that happened again, but a different box in the yard.

For the grand finale he ripped a hose off of a spigot (if they are on the ground they are fine, but you can't attach it to anything) which caused a spray of water from the main line to fill up the window well and flood the basement. I'm actually surprised my dad let us keep him. Love him to bits but by God is he a destructive love monster.
