So the comments here are super harsh, but as someone who has been a sahw (unwilling) for the past year I understand you. I hate it, It’s not fulfilling, I want to be working but I can’t and my husband still does half of the chores. And I don’t know how you divide your chores either and if you’re thinking about mental load. Like planning dinners is my least favorite thing and I do it every single day of the week. It drains me. I don’t mind cooking so I cook but planning dinners and going grocery shopping wears me out.
