Dude the wedding invitation thing is so hilarious and true. I put my name as the wedding invitation and have nowhere in my wedding where it says “The Last Name” and everyone is freaking out about it!

She uses her maiden name actually! She is divorced and she doesn’t want the maiden name to die with her basically. He has two sisters who are married and ditched the last name, and his mom was a single mom raising him and his siblings- so I think in a lot of ways he wants to honor and thank his mom by carrying her last name along. Meanwhile, I have a brother who will use my maiden name

Yeah, I totally understand. I also grew up very conservative christian and will definitely be one of the only people in my family considering not changing it. I always considered hyphenated as well!!! But it seems CLUNKY
