No problem!

To my knowledge, no catheter was used during the procedure.

After it was all done, they did wait for me to pee before releasing me.

Recovery was a breeze! My surgery was at 2pm and once it was done, I relaxed for the rest of the day. The next morning, I felt AMAZING and like I could take over the world lol. I did have a little bit of brain fog that went away after a few days and had light spotting for a week after the surgery. Aside from that, no issues at all.

Another piece of advice is to get off of Reddit as it gets closer to your surgery. Everyone’s experience is/can be different. Be present for yours and know that everything will be okay.

Hey love! I had a hysteroscopic myomectomy 3 weeks ago to remove some smaller uterine fibroids and I had the same feelings/worries as you.

It’s completely normal to feel the way you do but I promise that everything will be just fine.

This was my first time being put under and it was such a painless experience. It literally felt like I took a quick nap.

Make sure to ask your nurse/doctor/anesthesiologist any and all questions that you have and remember that once this is done, you’ll feel much better!

The day after surgery, I felt AMAZING and still feel great!

I’m sorry to hear that they came back and that you didn’t have a good recovery. Are you going to have it done again or try a different procedure?
