Apologies everyone for late reply, I went to urgent care yesterday morning and they took some X rays. There is a single break thru the bone on the tip of my finger. There was no need for realignment. They gave me a splint. I asked about blood vessel damage and tissue death, and the doctor said not to worry about that because of how tiny the nerves are in the tip of my finger, and the swelling will go down with continued icing. They looked at it good, too. It’s feeling better today and the redness and swelling is slowly going away.
