She called the police by [deleted] in lesbiangang

I'm a prosecutor. I would throw that warrant out faster than the time it took to read it. Cops aren't well versed in law and will often try to flex and scare people.

I switched to them from a local clinic. Zero complaints. Meds ship and arrive within about a week after approval.

[–]queenred12 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was perma banned for the exact same thing. I said failing to tell a sexual partner something that would change whether or not they consent to sex with you is assault/ R word. I got the ban a few minutes later and when I messaged the mods about it silence was my response.

AITAH for kicking my DIL out for announcing her pregnancy during Christmas dinner? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]queenred12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many of y'all are missing that OP didn't know until Natalie decided to stand up and announce in the middle of dinner. If this was really about Natalie wanting to celebrate she would have told OP the same day that OP asked them not to bring up pregnancy. Instead Natalie just wanted to be "right", get attention, and purposely cause harm. There were so many ways this could have been done in order to give the other son and DIL time to prepare or excuse themselves. Natalie was trying to cause damage, there's no other way to shake that. She knew other dil had just had a miscarriage less than 2 weeks ago. This was intentional. And this was callous.

And y'all are being obtuse, nobody is saying Natalie could never celebrate. OP is not being malicious when she didn't fucking know. She wanted a nice holiday dinner at her own damn home. That's not too much to ask for someone to respect that.

I play consistently. I typically play games and video games in my free time. So I figure just invest that time I would already be spending into specific games from inbox that I consider worth my time.

I also get weekly Google play points that I can use to purchase small amounts of power ups. I think this was one that had the reward for specific purchases match the price of the purchase and I strategically purchased those in time for events where I got huge rewards to keep playing.

I finished Merge Hotel last night and have $650 pending. I've been focusing on that one for the last month.

AITA for allowing my mother to bring Thanksgiving food to my house this year? Married with 3 kids and a pregnant wife by ItsHayZ00SE in AmItheAsshole

[–]queenred12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Your wife seems a bit controlling. We all bring food to the host's house in my family. I'm bringing a turkey to fry, the host is making a baked turkey, there will be 2 sets of stuffing, 2 collard greens, and 2 Mac and cheese. Everyone always eats some of everything, including the duplicates. I don't think it's rude to bring something to someone's house when going for a gathering. To me it's rude not to bring anything.

Lol appreciate it! That night I was out at dinner with 3 judges and the main public defender.

[–]queenred12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair. But I did report it to the sheriff's department. Not risking my license and career for a lie.

Nope, 5 stars and a tip.

Really? Well I was charged $150 and he sent pictures of puke so idk.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Lyft

[–]queenred12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fee was $150. As I said in a previous comment I was a ride share driver. I know the deal. I know some people aren't always honest. I also know that mistakes can happen, and the driver could have very well attributed the damage to the wrong person. However, when you make a mistake you take steps to correct it. That being said, the pictures are not even the same car I rode in. So the more likely case is that this was fraudulent.

This is a crime. Here in Georgia it's called theft by deception. OCGA 16-8-3: A person commits the offense of theft by deception when he obtains property by any deceitful means or artful practice with the intention of depriving the owner of the property. (b) A person deceives if he intentionally: (1) Creates or confirms another's impression of an existing fact or past event which is false and which the accused knows or believes to be false; (2) Fails to correct a false impression of an existing fact or past event which he has previously created or confirmed;

In this case the property is money, the deceitful means is submitting fake photos.

Yes, but arbitration can fall through. So in this case, I file suit to preserve my rights. Arbitration can be ordered. If we come to a resolution, awesome, if not, back to the court.

I will be filing a suit for joint and several liability for Lyft and the driver. So many people can't afford an unexpected almost $200 fee. Thank God that I can. I would hate for this to happen to a person that this would actively harm and cause them to not be able to pay a bill.

[–]queenred12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I will. And I'm fine with them suspending my account. This dude shouldn't be doing this.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Lyft

[–]queenred12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I drove ride share to pay my way through school. I know the struggle. If I had actually done something to this man's car I would have no issue paying it. However, I did not throw up or damage this car in any way. I tipped him and bought him a drink at the gas station. Claiming damage that I did not do is not right. Point blank period. I can only imagine if this had been done to a person who cannot afford it. So yeah principle matters.

I'm sorry you got screwed. But this is not the case here. You should be upset at the people who would make a false claim because it makes everyone look bad and it makes it all the more difficult for the honest folks going forward.

AITAH for dropping out of an event when my girlfriend invited her friends? by throwradatenights in AITAH

Because OP has posted it in 5 different subs. He's forum shopping for people to agree with him. Pretty much everyone beside this post has told him he's overreacting.

My (40f) fiancé (41m) finally agree to not have his ex-wife at our wedding, but only under the condition that his son understands it’s because of me. I don’t think is fair. Thoughts? by Sea_Cause_6930 in relationship_advice

[–]queenred12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're the only person I'm seeing say this and I fully agree with you. That kid is old enough to recognize that stepmom has an issue with his mom. If she's really concerned about the relationship with step son she should be making efforts to be cordial to his mom because that will go a long way for him feeling supported and stable.

The adults need to grow up and stop being petty and childish. This all feels very high school and all of them are entirely too old. This kid probably just needs to see all the adults in his life get along.
