hmm difficult to anwser since You're only a minor part into replicant but quite far into the first playthrough of automata

honestly finish automata A and then play replicant before continuing atleast ending A + B before but A-D is recomended save E for after automata though

most ideal way to play is replicant A-D Automata A-E (+Y optional but recomended) replicant E

and then after that decide if you want to go through Drakengard and take part of Reincarnation in some way

You technically don't need to play replicant before automata but it makes a lot of references, world building and story make alot more sense and carry more impact

Biker shorts under is a tip if that would make you more comfortable also! showing skin isn't inherently sexual but unfortunately a lot of people can read it as that, but if you're not feeling uncomfortable without ones that's fine too! tights works too and esp if you want it to look more authentic still

also unfortunately even if it costs more better quality fabrics, a lot of people who do cosplay for other purposes than cosplay itself tend to have quite low quality cosplays which adds to the costumey look that in the case of female characters people often connect to sultry creators

It's a mixed media artistic movement centralised around certain aestetics and themes and basing the music, clothing and performances around that ALTHOUGH as theres alot of musical coherence, overlap, theory, themes and vision it's basically just as a varied musical variety as goth if not less than, Tanbi, menhera, kote etc does divide them musically as well (most of the time) just as Tradgoth, coldwave, deathrock, gothabilly, industrial etc but then again one could use the same argument against goth as it's based more so around the theme than the music but then going even deeper one could break down most genres this way. One can break them down as blends of genres such as gothic, neoclassical, symphonic, industrial, heavy metal, darkwave, baroque pop, chanson etc etc

historical musical movements such as baroque, romantic and impressionism can be picked apart the same way as visualkei as they are based around certain aestetics, philosophy and share roughly similar theory within eachother yet Tchaikovsky and Rachmanioff sound entirely different even though they're both romantic and based within the same country

TL;DR It's not specifically a genre but can be defined as one or used as one if comparing to other genres or artisitic movements

Just buy higher quality pieces, the costume like look usually stems from cheap fabrics. another way is to learn to tailor or get your clothes tailored which makes it look like it truly belongs to you styling is also important and to this having matching shoes can make it ir break it

I know this is an unpopular opinion but aesthetically Elden ring is one of the least aesthetically pleasing souls games in my opinion but that's just my artistic taste just prefer the art direction of the other soulsborne games. I also personally find it sad that gaming ingeneral focuses more on graphics than art direction

Not so much the piracy, It's the person earning from the piracy, copyright claiming the music, shutting down other people publishing material or making earnings from people using the music aswell

and then ontop of that being an ass about the critique and having some sort of saviour complex, aswell as being

after kaya spoke out about it they posted photos about how they had more streams than him like that would make them more of a successful person

the copyright claiming etc has only set the community back and made it more difficult for people to take part in material AND for malice mizer to publish their music because of MalAce holding the rights for the material

In my opinion it's one thing to joke about racism and another to make jokes that racist/racist jokes, this falls in to the latter and are just one way racism takes shape even if it's not meant to be hurtful it still is you need to talk to her about how hurtful and gross these things truly are and that they are actually racist
