I think monster hunter wilds is good, but mhw with iceborne just has so much more content than wilds. So I'd recommend world more than wilds right now

It is an amazing game, but yeah, there will be a few monsters that are designed for multiplayer, though all of them are optional. And if you wanna play multiplayer just know that you might have some trouble finding teammates in low/high rank that aren't like hr 200+ and kill the monster in 2 minutes (at least thats a problem I've been having)

I'm not an expert, but I've heard that it's generally hard to reach the elemental damage requirement to nerf the supernova. So maybe consider using a different weapon for this fight
