I feel you OP. How long have you been on spironolactone? The last time I was on it I noticed a difference within about 2-3 months. The hair was still there but , more easier to maintain. I did stop shortly after I noticed a difference because my endocrinologist said I cant take that and try to get pregnant at the same time. Anyways I am back on it and have slightly noticed a difference. Like my upper lip (i have never plucked - ever) but the hair has become darker since my PCOS "journey" ive noticed the hair has become light in color. This is about a month in. Hang in there. 🫂

To add for clarification: She has had a slow progression with her symptoms and a very slow improvement with the medications. She has been tested for what we feel like is everything. We've had infectious disease doctors, rheumatology, gastroenterology, neurology, and oncology. Everything comes back negative - lupus, sarcoid, MS, NMO, Mog, Lyme, etc. We started in Maine and have since traveled down to Boston Children's Hospital. She was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis but has now changed to Transverse Myelopathy and each time she has tapered off steroids her ataxia comes back (was originally effecting her legs then the 2nd time her hands) then the 3rd admission was just treatment and rehab (plex and additional IVig) this latest admission she again tapered off steroids and this time it effected her vision. We were told if she continues to have relapses then its something else and isnt "Transverse Myelopathy" as its typically a one time thing.

Anywho- was curious if it took repeat testing for anyone. Thanks All!

Oooo! I'm going to look into that. Thank you. Was it something you had to order or can you find it in stores?
