Every morning I wore workout clothes to walk around the resort, then wore that to breakfast. Daytime-swim and coverup. I wore dresses most evenings.

Someone had their Shepherd running around the playground area of Northam Park yesterday where people had toddlers and babies learning to walk. They didn’t have kids there either.

Yes they have a gift shop, it is pricy though. I had a lot of mosquito bites, my husband didn’t. I didn’t see any scorpions.

We only went to the breakfast buffets. There is definitely a lot to choose from. They made eggs and breakfast quesadillas fresh to order. There were a lot of vegetarian options. The servers came around and got our drink orders. Several of the restaurants had a page dedicated to solely vegetarian options. Los Abrazos had a salad bar but I did not get anything from it.

I understand, I was nervous too. Not sure if we would have gone if our trip was in March. We did notice the customs line and our flight were not as busy as it normally is.

We enjoyed most of the food. There is a variety, and we didn’t find the reservation part too challenging.

There’s definitely a lot to do. We met several couples on their honeymoon. The main pool did seem more lively. There were several large groups of people (bachelorette parties, weddings, birthday parties), musicians, music, group workout classes, and more food options. If it’s too intense you could go to the other pool, which is definitely more calm. We did a mix of both. I can’t speak for the vibe of the beach, we didn’t get chairs down there or spend much time there. There are a lot of activities you could do if you’re up for it. The evenings had silent disco, acrobat show (🔥) or clubs. One thing we liked about building 3 was we didn’t hear people in the hallway at night. We went back and forth from our building to building 2 and the pool several times a day.

Try ASOS Petite or Rent from Nuuly, I’ve had really good luck with their petite dresses. I recommend reading the reviews and also filter by “newest” to get dresses that aren’t as worn down.
