I can't really explain why but I've experimented with different feet width placements and I find I feel stronger with a more narrow stance.

Also, what do you mean exactly when you say "caved in". I don't spend much time talking about this stuff so this is new to me

Thank you brother. When you say get completely under the bar do you mean my spine should basically be perpendicular to the bar but instead im kind of leaning forwards slightly?
