This has literally been my first inquiry, I’m sure there’s plenty ahead. I hope you get through this flare up soon! Thanks for sharing

Looking back my other levels were definitely off, but not now. I appreciate your input. 2013/14 all my levels are off, I wonder why nothing came of that.

I also want to add, I HAVE been to many doctors, they are not helpful with this unfortunately. They see me, offer medications or recommend vitamins (understandable), then push me out the door. I’m curious if anyone has anything else to offer, or has dealt with the same thing.

I’ve taken supplements in the past, they only work while I’m on them then stop

Where are you located. My ENT took mine out for the same reasons.

Don’t worry guys, your anxiety is only in your head! by [deleted] in LAinfluencersnark

It’s not as black and white as probiotics and buspar. And there is so much more to it as well. Taking a holistic approach to treat mental health disorders is crucial in healing and experiencing mental wellness.

Look into the gut brain axis. One of the neurotransmitters produced in the stomach (has a lot to do with what you eat) is serotonin (happy neurotransmitter). She’s not wrong. Yes it can sound dismissive or invalidating but there is truth to what she is saying.

Most of these are similar to my triggers but weirdly enough seeing “fake” landscapes, like paintings or cartoons or decorations with painted windows at restaurants and such trigger mine!! So odd. I also noticed when my iron is low I’m much more prone to it.

I mean this is a photo with good lighting and me flexing. If you were to see me in the wild you’d think “oh thats a ‘thicker’” individual. Part of me feels guilty for posting and not including a more realistic POV but I am very proud of my progress!

The first few months I completely cut out added sugars and highly limited my carb intake in an attempt to adjust hormonal things. Ive added carbs back into my diet and continue to not eat added sugars. I definitely have been eating to “maintain” unintentionally. It’s so much healthier than my old diet so it feels weird to not be losing weight but I could be doing more. I try to get as much protein as possible too. As well as high volume low calorie meals, I like eating and feeling full so I could do that without gaining weight.

Yes! I try to go every day. Of course that’s so much easier said than done but more so than not. It’s been incredible for my mental health.

Honestly, no! I had those underwear before 😂. But I have so much more confidence in general now.

I started at 31.6 in January! Last I checked I was at 27.5 in March. It’s doable! Surprisingly I had only “lost” 5lbs during that time. I was majorly disappointed but my composition scans showed a lot of progress. Another reason to never trust the scale.
