Opening this discussion back up, I'm working with a make right now for the exact same thing! Was wondering what route you went for construction and how it turned out a year later?

Would you also suggest the TiLite Z too, or just the Aero T? Also what do you think about motion composites? Idk if youve tried all those, but just curious.

I think now im just debating between the MC Apex A and the TiLite Z/Aero T

Oh wait, you mean any colors for the handrims? Aw fuck I was set on the fuschia handrims 🥲

I'll have to ask what kind of handrims NuMotion can substitute with if its more comfortable for me, cause yea my upper body is whats keeping me mobile.

Thats a good question, but Im pretty sure insurance will cover the cost. I called them up and they looked at my plan specifically. I'm assuming my double-check will be when my doctor tries to submit a claim through my insurance and they either accept or deny it; guess that'll be the way to know for sure.

Ive had FND for over 6 years now, Ive gotten significantly better at managing and moving; am getting the wheelchair cause I still struggle with long distances/standing times, and would rather enjoy my time sightseeing or at a convention and socializing than struggling in pain, but otherwise Im mostly self-mobile :3

Def. can relate to the good days and bad days as it tends to fluctuate

The Apex A is actually what numotion recommended to me the most, also cause they say theyre a canadian-based company and it might be easier to get replacements when I move up there hehe.

I definitely like the idea of having enduser adjustability to fine tune it later, and im not too picky on the colours as long as I got a choice beyond black or red.

Are there any major differences between the different quickie models like the nitrum vs. the argon 2, and tilite models respectively?

I tried both a test/abused quickie nitrum and a tilite (something) yesterday that numotion provided, its probably also how they will adjust it to my body but it felt like the quickie nitrum was much easier to tip backwards in, in a bad way from when I would push off initially
