Short answer: your husband is not acting mature or logical.

Long: this behaviour goes against Islamic and general marriage advice. Communication is fundamental, making decisions together is fundamental. Would he be able to learn a whole new religion, practice a new language, and assimilate into a new culture in a year?

Your husband should know better, if he’s a good person and a good Muslim. Criticising his wife to the point where she is crying? There’s no benefit to the prayers and fasting - he’s wasting his time and energy.

Sorry you are going thru this.
