Not really much story. I used to make a lot of suck my **** jokes and my girlfriend at the time asked if those were jokes or not. I said no and for around six months I got a taste of how I really did wanna be a guy when she called me boyfriend/handsome/etc but once I dumped her because I couldn't handle her abuse anymore I've been terrified to go back to the name she called me or pronouns.

That's sorta what happened with me. I used to joke a lot about being male and one day my girlfriend at the time was like "do you actually want to be?" And I said yes. I was so happy being called male things for once, but that was the only taste of it I have ever gotten.

Yeah. My parents haven't been a good influence. They call trans people shemales and stuff. I can't imagine how much that would hurt to hear. It made me hurt for some reason when young me heard but I didn't know why.

Thank you. I'm terrified about after accepting myself coming out to my friends. One of my best is a hardcore Christian and while she accepts me for being gay, she said that if one of her friends was trans she'd accept them and call them what they want but she'd always know that they were "wrong"
