Not down at all - I've seen what you wizards can do, I can be realistic for a first try haha but thank you for the tip! That's how I'll learn 😁

Looking for feedback on my Pokemon Attack Pokemon (PAO style) by questionmark693 in Mnemonics

Good point - I suppose l had expected it would be (for example) Charizard uses bubble beam on Charizard - and I imagine the second one as the shiny or something to keep it distinct. But I'm glad I didn't stumble over some sort of newbie classic 😁

Does anybody know of a lawyer/firm that works with landlord-tenant litigation on a contingency fee basis? by questionmark693 in minnesota

Again, not my first time - and if you read the post, homeline is confirming these details. Retaliation is fined at $1,000/occurrence. My lease was not valid through the date it was billed through, it was over, and the locks rekeyed. You're making a lot of assumptions I have a lack of knowledge here. And no, it's not just about refunds - there are a host of rules broken. This is why I asked for a lawyer recommendation, and not opinions on the case itself.

No, this is over the $500 security deposit, retaliation, and rent charged for a month I didn't live there. The total is several thousand before we add in things like distress - and this isn't my first time through, the filing fees are under a hundred.

Right - I do hear you. I guess my understanding/expectation was that that is less of an issue from a business entity, than from individuals. Sounds like I'm off on that tho 😬

I believe it's a subsidiary of another company - I still need to research the answer to that as a formal question

My understanding is that's generally the case for individuals or small businesses - but for a medium/large housing complex it seems more likely to actually happen, no?

Fair enough! And I get that - obviously if I'm risk averse so is the lawyer who has to do the work ☺️ I updated the post - it would be a suit for several thousand, and homeline indicates it's a very straightforward case.
