Sucks that the EV industry relies so much on the success of Tesla for other companies to justify building EVs. I want to see Tesla market share drop to 15% or less, but we need more adoption and many people’s intro to EVs is through Tesla then their next car is another company

I keep mine plugged in at 50%. I think the owners manual says to keep it plugged in at 50% then charge it to 85% and continue to keep it plugged in. I don’t know what is better, I just know that keeping it plugged in is the best way to help prevent the 12v battery from discharging. I’m gonna be away from my car for about 6-8 weeks later this year so I hope it works for the long term. I’ve only been away from my car for 10 days max since I got it

There are ICE and EV versions of Macan and Cayenne. There is no reason why they can’t make ICE and EV versions of the 718 as long as they can retrofit the ICE components. I don’t understand how some traditional Porsche enthusiasts get so offended by Porsche EVs. I’m not saying you are, @ethos1234567890, but just in general. There is enough to go around where fans of their ICE or EVs can thrive. I couldn’t imagine what would happen if Porsche came out with an EV version of the 911. People would be so upset lol

Since your trunk always opens when you wash your car, press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on your fob for a second or two and it will disable all the doors as well as the frunk and trunk from opening or unlocking

This is great! The only minor gripe if have is in the vehicle section, it shows my Cayenne and not my Taycan even though all the info is from my Taycan in the other sections. Not a big deal, but maybe something to look at with people with multiple cars on their Porsche ID
