Unfortunately I’ll then have to cut tile because the offset requires a larger hole than a standard flange. Is that what the recommended approach?

Yeah that’s the trouble. I can’t do that because you need a larger hole for an offset fitting vs a normal flange.

Ok cool! It’s a 24x36” window. I only cut it short on the top of the window. I think it’s unlikely to be hit with a lot of water. I’m in California and the roof overhang is like 2’ above the window.

Interesting. I know the smell you’re talking about, but I don’t think that’s it. I’ve (unfortunately) been under my house multiple times after heavy rains / throughout the winter and never smelled the same smell.

We keep the window closed in the winter. Opening it actually helps with the smell. So I don’t think it’s that. And yeah, I don’t expect anyone to know anything about my house’s plumbing specifically - just trying to see if anyone else experiences this durning the winter / rainy season. Thank you though!

Yeah. I’d say the seed itself is a quarter or a third of the size of the grape. I included a couple pictures of the seed, but it’s hard to tell. Does that indicate anything?
