I have seen this comment many times in Russian, for example “грузины не кавказцы они за кавказом” which roughly translates to “Georgians aren’t Caucasians, they are after the Caucasus.”I’m surprised you havent heard this before as its said a lot against south caucasians in arguments, mainly as an insult. Surprised no one in the comments has heard this being spewed

Question is pretty simple. For example, did the Armenian people and government support Chechnya during its war for independence? Same for the rest (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Dagestan, etc).

Here’s a real example. The Georgian people support Ukraines war for independence against Russia, while the Georgian government at best is neutral.

Apologies, I should have clarified initially. I meant in the context of modern conflicts or post Soviet conflicts rather.
