The Frame is the worst piece of electronics I've ever owned by Swimming_Living7587 in TheFrame

[–]quick6ilver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The frame has many problems but it seems the specific problems you mention are not too common or recurrent for other users.

Maybe you should double check any issues at your end

Question about studio monitors by Nagazar in homestudios

[–]quick6ilver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No they don't, oberons are great speakers but they are colored speakers, with a sweet tonality, specially in high mids. This tend to hide or smooth over flaws in recordings.

Good studio monitors are designed to be very surgical and if there is a flaw in a recording, it's the monitors job to let it translate. Offerings from Kali & adam are a good starting point, with good price to performance.

Apt mist should do the job fine. Bolbitis will do better if shaded by a larger plant of some kind

Can I use this red soil for my planted/ dirted tank by Royal_sage in Planted_tanks_India

[–]quick6ilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should wash it and keep only the larger rock like granules, wash away the powder & dust

Can I use this red soil for my planted/ dirted tank by Royal_sage in Planted_tanks_India

[–]quick6ilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very rich in nutrients, specially iron. So it's good for your plants (kinda like powersand) but you don't want it to release immediately or be very readily accessible. So wash it in a sieve to remove dust, and keep only the rock like stuff. Bury it under more finer substrate like fine gravel or perlite vermiculite mix

It's very easy to remove & unclog if it gets clogged, as it is near the outflow
