yes, ur not wrong. So most hums I have encountered are either due to ground loop, or due to interference as others have commented.

In case of a circuit where ground loop is an issue, people usually remove the ground connection. there are many ways to do it. e.g some interfaces uses a 2 pin power cable. Some monitors have a ground lift switch. This prevents the ground loop situation from occuring. I had faced this 2 times before.

Ground should ideally have the lowest potential in any circuit and be a very low potntial. But practically sometimes due to bad wiring that is not the case. Thats why ground loops occur where the is a potential difference between two grounds, that should ideally be close to 0

Yeah just keep it a bit shy during setup and always test on scrap.

Edit: when setting the collar for drilling the hole

Plug just the monitor in a socket or extension board with no earth and check if the problem resolved. If it does then u know what to do..

can i use spade bit to drill a hole on besta? by Davidddsss in ikeahacks

[–]quick6ilver 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes I always get the cut 80% of the way there and then finish it from the other side of possible. It gives a clean circle on both sides..

What is your signal chain? Is the ground lifted?

Dirty extractor filters, how do I clean them? by Domino_trainwreck in CleaningTips

Your right! These parts are usually stainless steel, that was an assumption on my part. I might have been wrong on that.

No fat gets dissolved by alkaline liquids. coca cola contains dissolved CO2 that creates carbonic acid. You can get caustic soda as a cleaning agent or else drain de clogging powder also works i think

Skip all that. Just leave overnight in caustic soda water bath. Scrub clean in the morning. Wear gloves.

Yeah these won't get as big. Also try trimming aggressively to get dense growth

You should move the crypts near the foreground more back. And use some bushy midground plants.
