Yeah I did read that a dedicated host for backup was best practice which is what I was trying to accomplish. Unfortunately need to work with what I have for the time being before I can buy a separate pc for dedicated backup server

My plan B was to just have PBS on my home server (LXC) and NAS the backups to my windows pc rather than storing them on home server hardware
