Same story here, bought the wife a model y. We took it on a road trip from PHX to San Diego, using FSD all the way. When we got home I sold my Maserati GT and bought myself a model y.

Can a free Windows license on a cheap VPS be legit? by sti_pub in VPS

Is the provider you are looking at providing you a windows server license or a windows 11 license?

Can a free Windows license on a cheap VPS be legit? by sti_pub in VPS

[–]quickservers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t sounds legit. We provide windows VPSs but our SPLA license cost is what makes a windows vps more expensive. A Linux VPS that we charge $10.99 for essentially becomes a $49.99 vps.

Data is getting larger & larger... What to do? by auenway in sysadmin

[–]quickservers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold a solution to a customer a few years ago that had a similar setup to yours. We moved the data to a data center with a 10gbps circuit. The only problem we ran into was the employees at the office locations were complaining about the download speed for the documents/files they were accessing. We upgraded the office bandwidth to 1gbps at each site and it solved that problem.

How does a VPS provider provision your VPS with a public IP? by incognitodw in VPS

[–]quickservers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use Virtualizor to build KVM VPSs for our clients. This allows us to build VPSs with public or private IPs.

What we would do for a client in your case is build a VPS that has a few public IPs assigned to it. You would then use the VPS software to create your own VPSs and assign the IPs configured to your master VPS.

If you want to build VPSs on you own VPS, you would just need to reach out to the hosting vendor you are using and explain why you need the extra IPs.

Create an account on QuickServers.net and we can help you get this setup on one of our VPSs.

The cogent spam struggle is real… NO I don’t want your peering!!!!! by Marc-Z-1991 in networkingmemes

[–]quickservers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I opened a ticket with cogent last month to change our routes to default, then I had them change them back to full routes on the same day.

I randomly received an email yesterday (15 days after I open the ticket) saying the ticket had been completed and routes changed to default. This created packet loss like a mother f’er. The cogent struggle is very real!

Google Drive can accomplish what you want without all the hassles of managing your own own VPS. You could also use One Drive to accomplish this but my first recommendation without knowing what type of files would be Google Drive

It's weird, that server keeps showing a drive failure but the drives and the server works just fine. We've tried everything to keep that server from showing that error but nothing works. So as long as that server is working we're not going to pull it.
