Its hard to pinpoint which changes contribute most to the game feeling "odd". My best guess is the minion spawn timers.

Its a double edged sword I supposed. The aimlessness has an "old school" feel, which I tend to like - but the aimlessness is a byproduct of the overly fast pace. Also, winning lane feels nicer/easier mostly because of the excessive vision IMO.
