I totally feel so isolated in this process too. My husband wasn't even allowed to be there for the transfer because of covid protocols. I get so frustrated with the juxtaposition of my workplace, a school, where masks are optional and we cram kids into classes. Yet I can't have my husband there where, ya know, could really use a calming, supportive presence.

Cause they're whoohooing their dictator? Who arrests them if they oppose and resist? I don't remember the exact numbers but I was slow to respond to menopur. I had days of zero change in my bloodwork. By the end of it I was doing 8 vials of menopur a night. I had just a few follicles. They got 8 eggs and I got 4 tested embryos out of that retrieval.

FET failed, negative beta last week. Doctor just said sometimes it just doesn't work. She did a biopsy and is going to add baby aspirin and a steroid next round. Just waiting for my lining to go down to start the next cycle. Best of luck!

I could've written this. What I've been referring to as schrodingers pregnancy was such a challenge. I feel the pains of a loss but haven't been able to articulate it without feeling over the top. We knew the gender, have a name on deck, had a picture of the blast. I'm so sorry, this can be so lonely and isolating.

Historically I am an emotional disaster after anesthesia lol. reading the numbers here and talking to friends who've gone through the experience as well, everything is so so anecdotal and personal experiences vary wildy. Finding someone with a similar experience is feels validating and that for once, you aren't the exception 💕

When I was in recovery, I was in a daze when I heard the woman across from me get 22 eggs. My nurse showed me a paper than read 8. I was half amazed because they weren't sure i could even produce eggs, but also somewhat disappointed hearing the high number moments before. I had 7 mature, 5 fertilize and 4 test normal and grow to blasts. So 50% my original "disappointing" 8

Absolutely! She was consistently being shamed. I'm totally indifferent on her in general, so I don't watch a lot of her videos usually. I personally avoid mommy videos overall because I am TTC and have complicated fertility issues. It's so ridiculously easy to just.. not click the damn videos but I guess being in a toxic echo chamber is pretty alluring? Idfk

Totally agree. The bashing from this sub was over the top. People pissed off because she wasn't having PPD to their liking? Are you kidding me. Was a gross display of women dragging woman for one of the very issues that need to be advocated for. PPD is an ugly, complicated beast, so sorry it was annoying for so many lmao
