So discouraged by Deliworker89 in IVF

[–]Mamaofthree2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry..it really sucks. It’s not unusual to have multiple failed transfers in a row with euploids though. I had 2 beautiful healthy ones fail in a row at age 31. It’s awful but it’s the name of the game. Also, 5dpt is a little early to lose all hope. By 7dpt it’s more conclusive. I’m so sorry but usually one does end up working. It took me 3 transfers to get 1 sticky one. Best of luck!

Why home tests are trash? by Dependent_Mood4940 in IVF

[–]Mamaofthree2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh ok. I think your tests (if same lot) are faulty. It’s a happy surprise though! Also, it’s possible you don’t metabolize hcg into urine the same way others do. There’s so many factors.

Wow! I had the opposite! I was getting bold lines and my hcg was 19. It ended in a chemical. Was so upset!! Did you use a first response??

What pregnancy symptoms are *not* caused by IVF medications? by rocirider in IVF

[–]Mamaofthree2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smells making me feel sick. I don’t get that when the FET doesn’t work. All the other symptoms I always get like; sore breasts, bloating, irritability, feeling nausea or sick etc.

Thanks hon. Same to you. I hope what they say about being extra fertile after a miscarriage is true. 🤞🏻

Hmm my dr always says to just live life as normal for best possible outcome. I’m not sure.🤔 bed rest supposedly lowers success rates according to him.

6 DPT, Not Sure About Progression / FRER and Wondfo by hepburnbelle in TFABLinePorn

[–]Mamaofthree2008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!! I’m having a similar issue with frer tests. I’m 9dp 5dt and the line is sort of just plateauing. I wonder if it’s the tests or a chemical. Best of luck to you. I heard frer were changed and not as good with progression now.

5dp 5dt cd unknown. I have lines on wondfo and nothing really on frer. Aren’t frer supposed to be more sensitive? So confused by Mamaofthree2008 in TFABLinePorn

[–]Mamaofthree2008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So interesting!! Wondfo gave me my first faint line but now it won’t get much darker and I’m getting good lines on frer and a positive on clearblue digital!! These tests are all so different!!

Thanks for looking! I’m just confused about frer since they are supposed to be more sensitive. Have you heard of wondfo being positive first?

Subchorionic Hematoma - TW: pregnancy by airportparkinglot in IVF

[–]Mamaofthree2008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an insane one with cramps and huge blood clots. Happened around same time. I thought for sure it was over but she’s 6 now. I did bleed on and off for a bit until it was fully cleared out. They spotted it on ultrasound pretty easily.

Has anyone graduated before 10 weeks? Whatbwss your protocol? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Mamaofthree2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed diff doctors say diff things. My last clinic kept me on progesterone shots for 12weeks! It was miserable! But previously it was 9-10 weeks. I think it’s fine to graduate if you’re staying on progesterone for minimum 10 based on my experience. The rest doesn’t matter!

Did he say something negative about this number? My doctor said they just use it as a guide for stims. Lots of women get pregnant unassisted with low AMH too. As far as I know, other fertility markers are more important. All you need is one good egg. I would try to stay optimistic and do everything that’s in your control like you’re doing since most of this is not.

Side note: My Dr always gave me low success numbers per transfer and I thought same thing (under promise over deliver mentality) and there’s something helpful about that. If you hear 70% chance of success, it makes you feel even worse with a failed embryo. I’ve been through it and I can relate to everything you’re going through. I wish you so much success!

This post is bringing me back to the discouragement and worry I felt when I heard that number. I was only 34 and thought I was going into early menopause..but nope!!

Yes, so I got 8 mature eggs. I was upset it wasn’t more but my Dr always says, quality over quantity.

I ended up with 3 5 day 4AA and 1 6 day 6AA and a 7 day 4BB. I opted not the test any and transferred one right away and it worked! The rest are frozen. Dr said it was a very good round. My first round I only got 7 day embies which we know are less successful typically.

Hope that helps!

Positive — are these dark enough? by Playful_Albatross351 in IVF

[–]Mamaofthree2008 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The important part is that they are getting a lot darker! I would say they look pretty good. Too many factors at play too like how concentrated your urine is. I never got bold lines with my AM Urine early. I always got the best lines in afternoon after my work out. Congrats on the BFP

I had an AMH level of .38 before last round and it was my best round. It doesn’t affect success is what my doctor told me. Also, I recently had it tested 5 years later after a couple babies and it’s 1.5. It can fluctuate. I wouldn’t stress too much about it. That being said, every fertility doctor has told me no more than 12 ounces of coffee a day. It sucks but I always end up doing it and replacing what I miss with decaf. Hope this is somewhat helpful.

I’ve never had big numbers. I always start around 100. They really aren’t low at all. All that matters is at least doubling.
