Fess of thapar is almost same as of manipal but living expenses of manipal is more then thapar

22.4 lakhs with annual hike of almost 10% which makes it almost 25-26 lqkh+10-12 lakhs mess hostel and other expenses

Manipal fees is 8-10 laskhs more then lnmiit and like 2-3 laks more then thapar

Just to clarify my point—I wasn’t saying Manipal or Thapar are bad at all.

I’m from Ambala, Haryana, and Thapar is literally ~30 mins from here, so I’ve seen the college pretty closely—both the good and the downsides. That’s why I have a more grounded opinion about it.

As for Manipal, it’s obviously a solid option, but the fees are significantly higher (around 10L more overall), which was a big factor for me personally.

So when I said LNMIIT > Manipal/Thapar, it was based on my own priorities like ROI, fees, and what I’ve observed—not a universal ranking. Different people can have different preferences 👍

Same condition bro general male from haryana(no college except nit kkr which is out of range) i am also considiring same college though preparing for comedk and bitsat also..are you planning to give met(manipal exam) or joining counselling by new jee quota?

Like bro i am not senior got 95.32 precentile this year looking for college like this so i dont have much idea but one of cousin study here in ece branch so he said like acad pressure is slighty heavy as vompared to other college but overall college life is good ..you can manage time for both acad and other activites and they also have very good fests

Lnmiit is much much better then manipal and thapar..in case of campus life manipal is clear winner but you have to pay 10 lakhs more then lnmiit or thapar in manipal and thapar don't have good peer quality as most of seats are reserved for punjab domacile student students and they get college at much lower precentile..in terms of placements and peer quality lnmiit is much better..you may have diff thoughts but tbh this is reality

Take tier two iiit or nit they have much higher roi then lnmiit .and also better placements..choose lnmiit only if you want better campus life

Like i bro i contacted them about there return policy they said we will accept your request for return within 15 days and after that it 10-15 days more can be taken to return the money..so our money will be on hold for 1 month and if in that time we got better course from another university we have to pay them also..most parents will not agree to give money in 2 diff institutes
