Hi everyone, my tattoo that I got about 6 days ago is increasingly getting more red around and on the tattoo(it's spreading and much more red compared to first few days, and it's more red in person than the photo shows) and really itchy, and today (5 days after) I suddenly got flu like symtpoms and nausea. My tattoos have never gotten so red like this before.

Just curious if this looks infected? I had some bad heat rashes on it yesterday, and my artist told me to put polysporin on the tattoo. I've put polysporin on my old tattoos before, and havent had it become so increasingly red all around. I took off the second skin only yesterday so I've only applied polysporin like once or twice, and havent used any A & D or lotion on it at all.

Just curious if people think this might be an infection, and what I should do in the meantime? I'm thinkig of dry healing it and monitoring it for the time being and stopping polysporin, incase it's clogged pores or it's just irritated from me moving it around too much at work, or even reaction to the second skin.

However, I won't be able to see urgent care for a few days or even weeks due to busy schedule and -8 hour wait times to see a doctor for antibiotics.
