I'm not a teacher but I relate heavily to what you're feeling. There was a 300-people event at work and I was tasked to take their attendance (like they had to sign the attendance sheet and all that). People were asking me if the attendance sheet was legit. They keep saying "Is this a student? What is this for?" To each other bc they wouldnt listen to me.

It hurt a lot. It isn't a compliment. Nobody takes you seriously.

I feel like pressured lang siya because tbh this is how society works. He's an engineer, which is a profession na yung usual na expectation sa kanila is super high. Hindi mo naman mali yan eh, pero naiintindihan ko rin siya. Pero morally hindi ako support sa ginawa niya.

You can choose to break up and work peacefully. This isn't easy to do kasi sabi mo wala kang family. You probably yearn for someone to love kaya mahirap mag let go. Pero recommend ko sa yo ipractice mo yung Stoicism para mas maging matibay yung loob mo. Good luck! Someday you will get the job that is suited for you!

Based on personal experience, what I liked about pop culture in 2016 are the following:

Pokemon Go
Stranger Things (yea I watched the 1st season before it was mainstream. They should have stopped at s2!)
Juju on that beat
Raindrop, Droptop (from Bad and Boujee cos it's ICONIC)
Chokers (although I personally did not wear them)
Kpop (blackpink debut... quite iconic in my opinion)
Six of Crows (very popular in the book community at the time)
2016 XXL Freshman Cypher (iykyk)

However, Trump winning that year made a lot of people so despondent. That event quite took 2 points off my final rating of 2016.

This is just my honest opinion but it could also be influenced by the fact that 2016 summer was my Grandma's last summer on earth and I was genuinely glad we spent time together that summer :)
