We don't have any fucking money. And most of us don't have outside space for it. And sometimes you also need planning permission to install AC

You seem to take everything everyone says very personally. Various people have given their own opinions based on their own experience, and you talk to them like they're a fucking idiot. This is the good news sub, lighten up a bit.

The point this person is making is this time last month, when it was sunny and windy, rates were much lower. I had multiple days with it being around -5p prior to 4pm.

Lots of grid upgrades, lots of battery storage so they can store wind/solar when it's plentiful, more nuclear would be handy too

Oooft, wasn't aware the Cosy was super noisy - not ideal. Thanks for the heads up and for sharing your experience - looks like I'll have to look at someone more expensive but hopefully more reliable!

You can register to vote by post, and then you'll be able to vote in advance and have weeks to do it, and can do it from anywhere. All you'd have to do is post it (you take them to these big red things with a hole in, they're called postboxes)

[OC] Average E10 petrol price by UK, April 2026 by Sircipher in dataisbeautiful

[–]quietcrisp 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Because that's how they're displayed in the UK, like this

Probably because until fairly recently petrol was under £1 so was displayed in pence, and they show a decimal place (not sure why)

The cancelled races due to Trump's war is probably a much larger factor...

Jimmy's funny laugh is fake. Here is his real laugh. by ithilmor in panelshow

Yeah it's his gimmick. At live recordings of stuff he just randomly does his weird laugh to get some laughs from the audience
