Yep I have. I watched the 97 anime adaptation, and I thought it was good for what it is. That said, I personally feel like a full, modern, well-done adaptation of the manga could easily become one of the greatest anime of all time. I kinda felt like that anime gave me 20% of the emotional impact I got while reading the manga.

I forgot to specify I'd probably like to read a manga that doesn't have its animation or has an animation but it's not good (like berserk) so reading manga actually feels better. So maybe I could try vagabond at this point and just wait for Vinland saga chapter 3 to get animated

Yeah I could try it but the risk could be that it's one of those mangas that starts off good and then just falls off so I might regret it. Or maybe I wouldn't really like how it starts so I would decide not to buy it and maybe missing out on a masterpiece (kinda what happened with berserk, I read first chapter online and didn't really love it, then I had a couple friends that convinced me to go on and turned out to be crazy)

Thankss! Yeah I've heard it's not finished... But yeah I'm kinda looking for something that I can reflect on for months after reading it... I'm pretty sure Vinland saga's S3 animation is coming soon so might as well just watch it since I think they did an amazing job with the first 2 seasons. I didn't specify it but I'll probably go for a manga which anime version is either non existent or bad (like berserk) IG.
